Meet your chief engineer at RaMed Studios, 'KC'. With over ten years of professional studio experience and two years at RaMed, KC is regarded currently as one of the best engineers in NYC. He cut his teeth as the engineer & studio manager at Susquehanna University, where he also earned a B.A. in Finance and Music Technology. KC then went on to work for four years at an experimental music studio in Hong Kong, where he immersed himself in the international music scene. After leaving Hong Kong, he toured the United States and Asia with a music production team, working with over 500 independent artists on a project called ‘The Server’. In 2019, KC moved back to NYC and happily found his home base at RaMed Studios. He has recorded, produced, and mixed over 3,000 records in his career and is extremely intuitive at helping any artist achieve their desired sound, ranging from 'mainstream' to ‘avant-garde'. He finds no detail too small, no dream too big, and is always willing to go the extra mile to achieve the perfect song. His specialties include Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Dancehall, Reggae, Gospel, Jazz, House, and Experimental. Meet Box, engineer, producer, and house DJ for RaMed Studios. Born in Queens, now living in Brooklyn, Box has been involved in the local NY music scene for over 10 years. He started off by collecting old-school vinyl as a kid and quickly made his way into the DJ circuit, spinning at all the top clubs, lounges and weddings across the tri-state area. He soon picked up an MPC and fell in love with producing, having released 7 instrumental albums over the last decade and producing for over 50 artists. Recently, he has graduated from The Scratch Academy in Manhattan with a degree in DJ arts and Music Production. After a small tenure at Soundcity Studios, Box decided to take his talent to RaMed and make it his home base. With specialties in Hip-Hop, R&B, Drill, Dancehall, House, and Gospel, come work with Box and his eclectic skill set…you’ll be guaranteed to leave with a hit song! Bing Bong!
